  • Daily energy utilization calculation: The calculation method is easy if the load consumption of electrical devices in use is mentioned.
  • The size of the panel: This needs to be checked since solar panels are available in all shapes and sizes. Don’t go with the size of the photovoltaic cells since some models might produce less electricity than is actually required.
  • Battery size and storage capability: Larger size solar cells such as gel batteries are unable to charge smaller size batteries. However, from a larger panel some could accept the electricity but one needs to be certain about it. The most important consideration is its storage capability. There is no need to purchase a costly solar device that misses out on battery storage capability. The storage capacity should be more if the solar energy is required for longer periods.
